New Look

I've finally changed to a 3-column layout.

I've been meaning to try it for some time, but the previous customizations seemed too time-consuming and I was too lazy. The other day, I found a quick, easy customization using Blogger's "Layout" functionality. The instructions are clear and simple, and for those of you who are intimidated by tech talk, you don't need to understand html.

If you've always wanted a 3-column blog, try it. It's at Three Column Blogger and has fixes for the more popular Blogger templates.

You did it!! OK, I'll try it this weekend and see if it's possible for me to do it, too.

Well done!

I still haven't tried it yet but am building up to it. I'm waiting for an "alert" day but should probably just get on with it.

It's really not difficult. Just follow the instructions step by step and you'll be okay.

Remember to backup and save your current template before you start - in case the gremlins get you. :)

And were you able to transfer all your old blog and posts to the three column?

Charlie, it was seamless. I didn't have to do anything except make changes to the template.

If you're using the "Layout" version of Blogger, nothing else changes. All blogs and any "gadgets" you've added will still be there.

All you have to do is move the gadgets around (drag and drop) to make it look the way you want.
